Power to the Peaceful is an anual concert in Golden Gate park. Michael Franti started this festival to promote peace and last year Amy and I danced to his music with 60,000 others. I have found live music relatively late in my life and I have always felt that it was powerful, but Franti takes it to another level for me. He makes me want to be good and act in society with wise, but truthful words. Some times the truth is hard to utter and further, believe that I am a part of. But he speaks up loud and clear, and says things in such a way that makes the truth OK, in the light of being inspired to change my behaviors and attitude towards life and our global dilemma; how will we all be peaceful together. Michael Franti doesn't so much ask how, but says that we can! Being to some of his shows, I believe he is right!
