The role of schools is to provide our youth with a framework for learning how to become positive, productive citizen in our democracy. They are places where they are exposed to different perspectives on the foundations of knowledge. They are places where our youth can learn to appreciate knowledge and use it to reveal their own perspective on society and knowledge.
Schools need to become more integrated in the workings of society so that youth can effectively learn to self-actuate their own participation and role in society.
