The New Paradigm of Connectedness

The old "paper" administrative system was practically closed. It is impossible to be effectively open, transparent and informationally connected with a paper system.
The next step was to computerize the 'paper' system. There was no paradigm shift in this stage, the paper system's procedures and logistics still dominate the non-profit administration.
the computer systems were designed for the paper systems procedures and logistics. so essentially the administrative process doubled.
the next step is to flip the order of importance to the computer being the primary procedure which then generates the paper trail as needed. the neccessary opportunity to do this comes with computers in the context of the web. since systems can programaticly share data (in ways we could never imagine with the old paradigm), we have to learn an entirely new way of organizing our administration to take advantage of the efficiency gain. Monolithic beauracratic personnel structures are holding back the realization of this new paradigm.
the dream of being a distributed unified non-profit foundation.
